Home Is
~~~~~~~~~~~
What do we call home, is the home that we refer to, is that the one when someone says
home is where the heart is. Our hearts have had many homes during their stay within our Earthly Temple, not geographically
particularly but as some people refer to as emotions, as feelings of the heart. If heart and home is of one then when we have
been emotionally within another's heart, our heart has called that location home. Until such time that we, we decided to move
on, to find another home for our heart, our emotions or maybe where our heart was calling home as a structural abode type
home maybe we received an eviction, we possibly were kicked out of that home. Others referred to their home as their castle
which would make the referral of their home as a fortress of stone with a large deep moat surrounding their home. A fortress
with towers and lookouts, a bridge drawn to close the opening to our castle, our home, our heart. This would be a type of
protection against an invasion of say our vulnerability or our privacy, we would feel safe and secure in our home.
Geographically, we possibly have referred to many locals, many locations upon Mother Earth
as our home, in this country or that country, one state or another, a city, a town, a villa, wherever we as some put it hang
our hat, so do we also hang our heart. Back to the expression, home is where the heart is . Geographically speaking we pack
all of our material possessions and we leave what area that we feel uncomfortable in that particular area. We do not like
the climate, the weather, the humans living adjacent or near by so we pack up our home and along with all of our Earthly possessions
we pack up our heart, we pack up our emotions and we look for another home. Maybe we have already looked and found an emotional
home for our heart, not necessarily geographically to stay in the same abode, structure, our house being home for our Earthly
Temple, our body but we have moved into another emotional home with another maybe inside another's heart, where our two hearts
are living as one, one heart, one emotion. How long will we stay in this home that we feel at the time is what we have been
looking for all of our life. No, we are not referring to the house which we call our home, the house of sticks and stone,
we are referring to a house that our heart, our emotions has moved into with another, still in the same abode but in a different
house, human house.
Many referrals when we speak of going home or where did you go for the holidays and you
say, home for the holidays. Was that the home of your heart or the home of your emotions, your body, your mind, the place
of your birth, the area where you grew up from a child, where you met the love of your life, where you built your castle,
your house, your home, your moat and your fortress or do you have an emotional home with many windows and many doors, where
others walk in and out and you do not fear emotional destruction. No invasion, secure in your home, many homes, many descriptions
of what a home is. Definitions of home is it where the mind dwells, where the emotion spills out openly or where the body,
the Earthly body of flesh and blood lays down to rest.
Whenever we complete a task whether our task is of a time of darkness or in the light
of day, a day job or a night shift of work. When someone asks where do you live you could tell them cloud nine or in a hole
or a cave or in the darkness or the light, top of a mountain or at the bottom of a pit of quicksand. Where do you live that
could be referring to your emotional home or for that matter your geographical, physical home. Seems like each one of us has
our own journey to travel from home to home, a pilgrimage if you will. A nomad of the physical state or the emotional state.
We may be happy geographically, stable geographically but emotionally be a vagabond, a traveler or the other way around, emotionally
be at home with one particular individual with the foundation very deeply planted, very solid as if built on the strongest
rock but physically float and drift and dream, physically but always have your emotional home tucked away under your arm,
held in your hand but more importantly tight in your heart, in your emotions, in your Soul, in your Spirit. We go home for
the holidays but where is it that we actually go. We could travel great distances physically and go back to our home, the
place of our birth, the place that we were raised from childhood to adulthood or where our heart, our emotions feel that,
that is our geographical home but when we go as they say, home for the holidays we go physically but if our emotions, our
heart, our Soul and Spirit live within another we take our emotional home on a trip to our physical home. Many homes, homes
of the past, today's home, hopefully tomorrow's home, physically and emotionally stable, no confusion, no journeys for a permanent
duration but when someone asks where is your home, you can nod or point to the one that you love, that you have felt an emotional
home with their emotional home within you. You take the two emotional homes, one into the geographical home of security and
as they say many times in fables or as they call it a fairy tale, live happily ever after.
When we find the home of homes, the castle where we may leave the bridge down or fill
up the moat with dirt and gravel, we need no fortress, we are not vulnerable to attack, happiness, tranquility,
serenity, beautiful days, wonderful nights with this emotional and geographical home.
A dream of dreams, hope of hopes. These things are possible, there are many among us that could refer to their home where
the Soul and Spirit live and the home where the Earthly Temple of flesh and bone reside as one, one home for all. Some it
takes longer to find this home than it does others, very sadly some never find an emotional home or a geographical home where
they are comfortable and satisfied and happy for one reason or another maybe as a seed growing away from the parent plant
or tree or flower, a bit of pollen, some drift and float in all eternity never sinking roots, never growing or progressing
to anything more then just a seed. This is the very sad part, hopefully there are more that find that combined home then there
are the ones that find neither or maybe just one of the two, never give up, always look, be watchful for that structure in
which you wish to have a home, the structure of an Earthly Temple that you meet along the path and the abode of which the
two emotions become one in that home within that structure of sticks and stone. Never give up, never too late, strive for
that happiness, strive for that contentment, go forth and be at home for the holidays, every day a "Holiday"
(E Me Nv) Amen. Ho
