Decisions & Changes
~~~~~~~~~~~
Every day we make decisions, we make changes in our life and in the lives of others. Many
times we think the decision we make at this time is the correct one for ourselves or for others. Most times including others
in our plan we make decisions on where to live, who to be friends with, who to be a companion to or to have a relationship
with. So many times within maybe even a few hours, days, weeks, months, the place, the geographical location that we have
chosen does not seem fit for us, one way or another we are uncomfortable. We are unhappy, our dreams have not been fulfilled,
same as with a person, an individual. We think with our heart mostly, we want to spend the rest of our days here on Earth
and even when we cross over with that person, we spend time together, at first seems quality time than quantity time, then
we get uncomfortable with that person. We want to move on, we want variety in our surroundings, we want to change the one
that we share things with, then there are times that we go forward and we are happy for another while we think back, could
this have been a more permanent relationship if I or we would have or could have grown together but it seems as hard as we
try sometimes there is no way to go back. There is no way to start anew, an old relationship or even a friendship, companionship,
it is always new, never the old. Once we move geographically we find there is no going back, thoughts of the past, changes,
decisions.
Some of us maybe even most of us make instant decisions. We think this is the best for
us, to move from here to there, from there to here. We do not like the forest, we move to the desert, the desert does not
complete our satisfaction so we move to the plains or the mesa then to the ocean and with each geographical change there is
always someone new which are usually as much different as each geographical location. There are some of us that go through
life forever being a nomad, being a gypsy, from one place geographically to another, from one individual emotionally to another.
We go through life, we live in different abodes, different shelters, we share that world, those world's with another and when
we cross over and go to the Heavenly Village most of us go alone. We have no one to rendezvous with, that has gone before
us, seemingly we go alone, we remain alone with no one to come after us at a later time.
There are decisions in life here on Earth, in this Earthly Temple, our Soul and Spirit,
yes, we are with Grandfather and the Heavenly Council but our mind and our emotions, our earthly feelings go out to others.
Some stay with one individual, in one geographical location all of their life or at least their adult life some even all of
their life almost from birth to when they cross over, when they go to the other side, these do not number very many. The nomads
of this world, of this Earth wander mentally and physically upon this Turtle Island not knowing where their next physical,
geographical location will be, not knowing who individually will be in our lives to share, to be a friend, to be a companion,
sometimes most times like clouds in the sky passing over, continuously changing, continuously going from one horizon to another
only momentarily. If only we could be of a stable geographical location, if only our emotions could be stable and permanent
as to who and what we want, seems as though sometimes we walk around this Earth confused, choices, changes,
decisions.
So many things to choose from, so many areas in which to lay our head down and rest our
bones, so many individuals to lay down beside at night when it gets dark and the moon comes up and the stars come out, close
our eyes to rest our Earthly abode, to rest our mind and our hearts, our emotions, our Soul, our Spirit. We wish to wake up
with that individual, to start a good day, share another beautiful sunrise, share working together, going places, seeing things.
Where we make all of these different decisions because our minds, our hearts, our bodies are always wanting more, want more
fulfillment, more satisfaction, more contentment. Will we ever learn how to hang on to a permanent thought, to a permanent
decision. Most times when we make a change to run away from our problems, the change is only geographical, the change is only
physical, the problems jump in the little bag with the rest of our belongings, our mental and emotional belongings and go
with us. We do not leave these problems buried in the Earth when we leave one geographical location and go to another, they
are always on our shoulders, in our mind, in our heart, we wish to go back sometimes but there is no going back and it does
no good to wish back, want back. We only can go forward and hope and pray to Grandfather, the Heavenly Council that this next
decision, this next change is the right one. What we eat, what we drink, what we take into our bodies, what we touch, what
we look upon, all decisions, what we even listen to, we hear all but we listen to selected things. We only hear what we want
to hear, we only see what we want to see, we only feel what we want to feel. How many times do we say, I wish the seasons
would change, I wish it wouldn't rain so much, wish it wouldn't be so dry, wish, wish, wish and wish for a change and for
a decision and then when our wish is granted, we wish to go back, no going back, no return to what it was only what it is
maybe what it can be or could be.
Do any of us really know if the decision we make this minute, this day will be a decision
or a change for the better, tomorrow, tomorrow's tomorrow. Next time we think of change we think of geographical change, we
think of the change in an individual we wish to hold close to our heart, close to our soul, close to our inward being, share
the salt and sweet tears of life with, write upon the pages of life with this red ink, have them write upon our pages with
their red ink maybe stain our pages with their happy tears or even their sad tears, we should share. Instead of rushing into
decisions and changes maybe we need to think, think past this moment in time, think past today, tomorrow. Where will we be,
who will we be sharing our life with when we draw that last breath. Is it really where we want to be, is it for sure who we
want to be with. No need to worry about material things, material thing's do not go with us anyway. You can pack them up and
move them from one abode to the next, one geographical location to the next but the main things we carry in our minds and
our hearts, we can't pack them up they are already packed up.
Let's take good things with us if we travel, we go to take a look at something beautiful,
we go to visit a place, let's always come home. There is an expression:
"Home Is Where The Heart Is"
but if your heart is a nomad, if your heart is a gypsy, if your mind knows no place of
rest and you try to pack around all of these memories, all of these pasts, let's slow down and think. Do not make any snap
decisions, do not make any quick changes, you could be sorry, could be regretful. Most of us have so much past we do not know
what the future is, we say we have already done everything, been everywhere, what is there to do now, what is new. Am I happy
today, will I be happy tomorrow, will I be contented, satisfied with my surroundings, with my aloneness or my togetherness,
who is to say but our self. We need to think it over and be sure. When we make these decisions we need to think of all of
them. The beautiful things, the happy things that make our goal not only for our self but make someone else happy, contented
and share these beautiful sunrises and sunsets, beautiful night skies with flicks of silver in black sand. Share laughter
maybe even share a salt tear but not too many, as sweet tears are much better to share, to give and to receive.
