"Meet Your Brother"

~~~~~~~~~~~
Vic had been in the Army for several years and was getting out of the service. When he was discharged he was to pick up a car which had been bought for him near Oklahoma City. When he got to Oklahoma City he called his Grams and he and Grams, Aunt Pat and his cousin Gil met for the first time. He was given my address and after a while wrote to me. We remained in contact by telephone and letters until July 8th, 1985 when he flew into San Francisco International Airport where Chris and I were waiting for his arrival. Upon seeing him I knew that, that was my son and for the first time in his life Chris saw his brother. I embraced my son, Vic with all the love a father and a dad can show and give, said how wonderful it felt. I stepped back and looking at both of my sons
Said:
"Meet Your Brother"
