Upon the decision to move to Sacramento, Kathy and I were married and the three of us,
Kathy, Vickie(Kathy's daughter)and I moved to a nice apartment in South Sacramento where we set up housekeeping and awaited
the arrival of what turned out to be another boy. This handsome young boy child entered this world on December 26,1966 after
giving his mother fits for nine whole months. He had proceeded to disrupt all of his mothers habits such as smoking, drinking
coffee and frying eggs for his father to be. He had made it a game to always kick the dickens out of his dad while his sleeping
mother to be cuddled to his fathers back and then the last day of his stay in the womb had cheated his mother out of her waffle
breakfast, caused her to be rushed to the hospital then decided to wait and play games with all the maternity ward personnel
as well as the doctor himself. After an all day wait and finally getting tired of this game he sprang forth, almost as if
shot from a cannon to cast his eyes on the wonders of the operating room. This little guy gave his mother great relief and
brought tears to the eyes of his father. Even though he appeared to be a large prune at first, after a few days he began to
look like a very nice looking boy child. A move was made to larger quarters into a house on 66th Avenue in the South area
of the city and I continued my police work with the city. After awhile this what had appeared at first as a large prune became
a handsome little boy. We bought a new home in the Northwest Section of Sacramento where we lived and grew for the next several
years. During that time Granddad Dick had a heart attack and died in Oklahoma City. Again, as my life had been always before,
things in the family began to deteriorate and in 1972, Kathy, Chris and Vicky moved out and back to Davis, California.
Kathy and I were divorced that year and I only got to see my son on my off days. In November
1972 I quit the Police Department. Kathy and I decided that we still cared enough for each other to try to make a home elsewhere.
We went back together and moved to the Northwestern part of Iowa, into a town called Spirit Lake. I went to work at Citation
Homes making prefab homes and stayed with them until a better offer of more money came from a firm in a town South of Spirit
Lake, called Milford. It was not far and we liked where we were so we remained in the house that we had made our home. I got
the chance to go to work at McQuay Perfex Company in the sheet metal section making ice machines for more money. During this
time I had contacted Vic in Northern Minnesota and it seemed that I was finally going to get to see him. We are all aware
of what transpired in regards to our visiting and his going to Ohio and Kentucky, when we all decided to move there to be
near my father Roy, who lived outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. After awhile I applied at the U.S. Naval Ordnance Station in Louisville,
Kentucky for a job as a Materials Expediter(Production Controller)and was hired. We moved to Louisville, where we lived until
I had a disabling accident on the job, surgery and retirement from Civil Service, in May of 1977.
In 1979 we moved to North Highlands in the North section of the Sacramento area and then back to Davis
again later that year. In 1980 I moved out and relocated in Sierra County, California where I lived for approximately twenty
years, where I was groomed by The Great Spirit to be who and what I am today. I did a lot of moving around and again even
as an adult have made a large number of mistakes. During this time Kathy and I once again divorced and she and Chris remained
in Davis. As the caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly, so did this little boy turn into a handsome young man.
